How does Legendary Feather work in person?
You and the other person share one phone. Pick the two languages of the conversation, press the talk button, speak your sentence — about two seconds later your phone speaks the translation in their language. Then they speak, and you hear it in yours. Zero learning curve.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Legendary Feather runs in your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge). On mobile you can also "Add to Home Screen" to get an app-like icon — no app store, no download.
Can I use it for phone calls?
Right now, only for in-person conversations where both people share one phone. Translating a regular phone call requires intercepting your microphone, which iOS and Android don't allow third-party apps to do. We're exploring a workaround — but for V1, the focus is face-to-face.
What makes Tourist Pro better than Tourist?
Tourist Pro uses our highest-quality voice with regional dialect handling (Mexican vs Iberian Spanish, Brazilian vs European Portuguese, etc.) for natural-sounding conversations in 100+ languages. Tourist Pro includes 120 minutes/month with regional dialect handling — for the moments that matter, like a key conversation with a doctor, lawyer, or landlord.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
Travel Pass is a one-time 7-day purchase, so it doesn't auto-renew — once activated it isn't refundable, but it expires automatically with no further charges. Monthly subscriptions cancel any time from your dashboard; you keep access until the end of the billing period, no refund for unused days. If something failed on our side (the service was down, repeated translation errors), reach out to support — we'll make it right.
What happens when I run out of minutes?
Translation pauses with a friendly message and you can either upgrade your plan or buy a Pay-as-you-go top-up (40 min for €11.99 / $12.99, valid 1 year). We never auto-charge overages — you stay in control.
How accurate are the translations?
For the major language pairs (English ↔ Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, etc.) accuracy is consistently above 95%. For less common languages it's typically 85-95% — good enough for everyday conversation, but proper names and idioms can sometimes get lost. We're always improving.
Is my voice or audio stored?
Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored after the translation is complete. We keep a short text record of your translations for billing and history purposes only — you can clear it from your account at any time. We don't share your conversation content with third parties or use it to train AI models.
